Saturday 10th February, at 1pm, monthly gathering of the Young Adults & Young Professionals at St Mary's Priory. After a convivial pizza lunch, talk and discussion on:
"Liturgical gestures and other non verbal communication at Holy Mass.
Come and learn why and when we kneel, sign ourselves, bow, genuflect, walk in procession; and why different colours, why incense and so many other non written signs to help our prayer."
Thank you for your dedication and support to the liturgical and devotional life at St Mary’s Shrine, in particular those involved with singing; cleaning; flower arranging; welcoming visitors and handing hymnbooks and bulletins; collection baskets and counting; maintenance; sacristy supply; bell ringing; rosary and devotions.
Could you assist with any of those tasks in 2018? This is a very good way to serve God and neighbours, giving of our time for the worthiest of cause, and with immediate results. Contact us to know more.
New Repository! At long last, we now have a proper space for Mass cards, good books, rosary beads etc.
Volunteers wanted to man it after Mass. Thank you.

Holy Communion Reminder:
To receive Holy Communion, one must be 1) a Roman Catholic 2) in state of grace (no grave sin unabsolved on one’s conscience) and 3) have fasted for at least one hour.
In the traditional Latin rite used at St Mary’s, Holy Communion is received kneeling (if one can), and in any case on the tongue: thank you very much in advance.
Please hold Communion plate against your throat if no server is available.
Please use the entire width of the Communion rail, from one wall of the church all the way to the opposite wall, avoiding any gaps. This will make distribution quicker. Thank you.
Watch Holy Mass at St Mary’s daily on www.livemass.org. The Mass of the day can be watched for 24hrs and that of the Sunday for the entire week.
