Nobody wants to have an abortion. Many would avoid it if they had more support. Last Sunday Rhoslyn Thomas spoke at St Mary's about the formation of a Pro-Life directory to assist in speedily identifying / contacting such sources of such support throughout the UK. Please read on if you think you can help.
The UK ProLife Anniversary Initiative is creating an extensive directory of the various kinds of positive pro-life support available to anybody facing problems related to pregnancy. This project is moving ahead at a great pace.
As well as existing pro-life organisations who already advertise their helplines and centres, there is still a great need to enrich these links to ensure that we are covering the whole country and not just the major cities. For this, we require contacts in the forms of small groups of pro-life people, families and parishes who can provide help to mothers in crisis pregnancies in their local area, if and when the need arises.
We are particularly interested in ensuring that available assistance in smaller towns is rigorously researched and included in the directory. We have already identified considerable help available through many of the Church networks, but still need to add to our data to ensure that we are able to cover the whole country.
Any help to enrich this growing pro-life directory will be most welcome.
