What is the Youth Conference? The annual SPUC Youth Conference is a weekend (3-5 March) filled with pro-life talks, workshops and many chances to meet other young pro-life people. The aim of the weekend is to bring young pro-life people together, to educate ourselves on the current pro-life issues and to recharge our batteries so that we are ready for the coming year. The conference aims to cover all pro-life and family issues, including issues like abortion, euthanasia, IVF, contraception, population control and 'LGBT' issues.
Celebrant for Holy Masses: Fr Armand de Malleray, FSSP. Those who wish to join a group travelling from Warrington may contact St Mary's Shrine here.
It's not all work! Every evening, there is a chance to socialise and have some drinks at the bar, watch a film, meet up with old friends and make new ones. On the Saturday night, we have our time-honoured tradition of the conference ceilidh.
If you're still unsure of the format, have a look at some of last year's talks over on SPUC's Videos page.
Who can go? You must be aged between 16 and 35 years old to attend the conference. If you are under 18, we require that your parents sign a parental consent form.
How much does it cost? The price of the conference, including all talks, food and accommodation is £100. If you book before 1 January 2017, you can pay a reduced price of £85. Those who might need help to pay for the price of the conference can contact Rhoslyn on email@example.com for more information. Please don't be shy!
Is it open to people from other countries? This conference is open to people from all countries. We have regular attendees from countries like Spain, Germany, Italy, France and the USA. However, we cannot supply you with a visa to attend the conference. If we suspect you are trying to use the conference in order to obtain a visa, we will not accept your booking.
What if we want to come as a group? Lots of university pro-life societies come as a group and we are always happy to welcome new ones. If you need any help with arranging this, please let us know.
How do I book? On this page, you'll see a link to book online. If you would prefer to fill out a paper booking form, just download one by filling out the form at the bottom of the this page and send it to:
