Yesterday's Family Catechism Day saw us trying to squeeze 39 people into our far too small dining room. We still need a church hall...
The younger children painted in a mysterious way (!) to make the name 'Jesus' appear as from invisible. And they made shields as shown below.
Meanwhile the Catechism classes were replaced by a slide show about the Church in Burma. There will be an opportunity to see a similar presentation by Fr Mawdsley at 7pm on Tuesday 31 January at St Benedict's (WA2 7QE).
Next month's Family Day will return to the Catechism, looking at §261-267 on the Most Blessed Trinity (see the Athanasian Creed below). All families welcome. Bring a picnic lunch. Mass at 12:10pm followed by lunch, classes (at 2pm) and free play from 3pm.
