A reminder of three events at St Mary's open to all (Wednesday), to families (Thursday) and to young adults (Saturday):
6:30pm, Wednesday 14th: Fr James Mawdsley, FSSP will give a talk "The Meaning of the Gestures of Reverence in Holy Mass". The talk will be followed Q & A, then a Sung Mass at 7:30pm for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.
1pm - 3pm, Thursday 15th: Family Catechism Day. The classes, first for children then for accompanying adults, will consider the transmission of Divine Revelation through 2,000 years of Church life (as summarised in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, §96 - 100). Bring your own lunch.
1pm - 3pm, Saturday 17th: Young Adults & Professionals 18-35 Group. Lunch is provided, followed by a talk by Fr de Malleray, FSSP on "What do we mean by 'God is here'? The gradation of the modes of presence of God: in the world, in His people, in Holy Scripture, in our souls and in the Holy Eucharist." For those who can make it, there is eucharistic adoration from 10am - 12noon, with Confessions available, and Holy Mass at 12:10pm.
