Thank you for your generous support to our Lenten Community Campaign, sponsoring Conor who walked all the way to Santiago during Lent. £2,008.59 were raisedfor the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Nigeria.
Next Meeting for Young Adults & Young Professionals: next Saturday 21st May, 1pm-3pm. Convivial lunch at St Mary's Priory (clergy house next to church at the end of car park) followed by Spiritual talk by Fr de Malleray, FSSP on "How to be a young saint in a pagan world?”, followed by Qs & As. Arrive earlier if you can and attend our 12:10pm Holy Mass, or even earlier for the 10am-12noon Eucharistic Adoration with Confessions. Further meetings on Saturdays 18th June and 16th July (1pm-3pm). Any young adult 18-35 welcome.
May Crowning on Sunday 22nd May, immediately following the 11am Mass. Weather allowing, walk in procession to the Lourdes Grotto in the Priory Garden, singing Marian hymns. One of our young ladies will carry a crown to put on the head of the statue of Our Lady.
Corpus Christi Procession on Sunday 29th May at 2:00pm, after convivial picnic in the Priory garden (open to all: bring and share lunch). Volunteers wanted to prepare patterned decorations (e.g. chalice; Host; IHS...) with petals and coloured sawdust; prepare outdoor altar; carry the canopy; First Communicants from the past twelve months to wear their white garments; etc. Please speak with Fr de Malleray and Marcus today or email us your suggestions.
Warrington WALKING DAY on Friday 1st July: we still need to identify a lead steward for our group, who will take responsibility on the day for the safety of the walkers and act as the main point of contact with the organisers should there be any significant incident. Memorable Sacred Music Concert at St Mary’s yesterday evening: the Warrington Choral Society conducted by Michael Wynne sang JS Bach's Magnificat and cantatas. We encourage you to attend these events and to bring your friends along: a wonderful way of evangelising through beauty!

Bookstall: we have one volunteer for after Sunday Mass. Would you like to be involved as well in running this? It could begin small with cards, rosary beads and a few pamphlets. But there is scope for much more, including good books and DVDs, missals, good religious art. Please give your suggestions and offers.
